Recommended places to visit during your Aruba Holiday

With an area of less than 76 square miles (200 square kilometres), Aruba is one of the smaller Caribbean islands. Situated off the coast of Venezuela, Aruba offers the perfect conditions for a sun-soaked holiday at idyllic beaches under the famous Divi-Divi trees.

Dream beaches to relax and enjoy

Whether it's Eagle Beach or Palm Beach, the island's beaches are the highlight of your trip. The snow-white sand and crystal-clear, azure waters perfectly complement the scattered palms and lush greenery in the background. On Aruba, you need little more than time to fully enjoy the Caribbean.

Arikok National Park - array of flora and fauna

This park will impress you with its diverse plant and animal life, colourful cacti, striking iguanas, and wild goats. Winding hiking trails lead you to the ruins of indigenous settlements, allowing you to delve into Aruba's history. Numerous natural pools in the park offer a refreshing dip.

When is the Best Time to Visit Aruba?

The dry season from December to April offers ideal conditions for a perfect beach holiday in Aruba, with average temperatures between 25-28°C and plenty of sunshine.

If you can cope with the occasional rain shower during your holiday, the rainy season from May to November is also a good time to visit. During this time, the vegetation on the island is particularly lush and you will see lush greenery everywhere. However, you should be aware that the risk of storms increases during the hurricane season from June to November.

Relaxation and Adventure: Things to do in Aruba?

Aruba is renowned for its idyllic Caribbean beaches, and making the most of them during your holiday is essential. Whether you’re windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, sunbathing, or swimming, the crystal-clear waters provide endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation. But the island has much more to offer aside from its stunning shores.

Discover the island's history in Oranjestad

With fewer than 30,000 people, Oranjestad is a charming small capital. Explore its historic streets and the history museum. Enjoy local specialties, fresh seafood, and grilled dishes in cafes, all paired with a glass of wine.

Off-Road touring across the island mines and lakes

An off-road safari is perfect for exploring the more remote parts of the island. Travel through the national park in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, discover the ruins of gold mines, or swim in one of the many natural pools.

Snorkelling in coral reefs

Diving or snorkelling in the coral reefs around Aruba should definitely be on your itinerary. The vibrant underwater world is truly unique and will leave you in awe. These tours can usually be booked locally, offering easy access to this underwater paradise.

Caribbean Dreams: The best beaches in Aruba

The beaches are undeniably the highlight of Aruba. Here, you can fully embrace the Caribbean vibe, enjoying beach life with activities like swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing, or diving. Most beaches in Aruba offer sun lounger rentals, and showers are usually available to rinse off the saltwater after a refreshing swim in the sea.

Eagle Beach - a caribbean dream

Located in the northwest of the island, near the city of Oranjestad, Eagle Beach is one of Aruba's most popular beaches. It's no surprise, as this beach looks like something out of a postcard: powdery white sand meets crystal-clear water and palms. Where better to spend a perfect beach holiday?

Palm Beach - perfect for sundowners

Located on the northwest side of the island, right next to Eagle Beach, Palm Beach is livelier, known for its hotels, restaurants, and shops. It’s perfect for combining beach vibes with a drink or snack, and ideal for a romantic stroll under the palms or watching the sunset with a cocktail.

Baby Beach - the caribbean family beach

Baby Beach, located in the southeast of Aruba near San Nicolas, is perfect for families with children due to its shallow waters. If the little ones get bored of the sea, there’s a nearby playground to keep them entertained. There's also a picnic area to enjoy your snacks.

Rodgers Beach - ideal for diving and swimming

Rodgers Beach, located in the west of Aruba near the California Lighthouse, captivates with crystal-clear water and white sand. It’s perfect for snorkeling, so be sure to bring fins and a mask. The shallow waters are also great for learning to dive.
